“I suffer from agoraphobia, and have for over 40 years. Paul Collard invited me to attend a class he was leading that addressed agoraphobia and anxiety. We learned tools to use when panic and fear started to overcome us, ie: snapping a rubber band worn on the wrist when the negative feelings started, or carrying a small notebook in which to write a positive comment when a negative thought came to mind. I found the class extremely beneficial, and it has had a tremendous effect on my life. I’m not 100% free of fear and anxiety, but now I know what to do to put those fears in place.” -A
“I am very thankful I went out of my comfort zone to attend this Anxiety and Panic Attack course. It helped me to find healing in a safe place. God showed up every time and my fellow members and I helped each other towards healing with Paul’s guidance. Paul led our group and shared the 30 year battle he has had with anxiety. His story, the weekly classes and openness helped me on a healing path. Praise God for this ministry. “ -W.E.
“I had the privilege of attending a connection group on anxiety, led by Paul Collard at Columbia Grove Covenant Church in the winter of 2018-2019. The class provided me with tools to help me deal with the complications that can come with suffering from anxiety and/or depression. As a result of this class, I was able to make valuable connections with others who understand what it’s like to feel the effects of anxiety and depression. Those people were respectful and encouraging in our joint growth and understanding of how we can more effectively handle our anxiety and potentially anxious situations. I am proud to call these fellow students my dear friends, and we will continue to lift one another up and encourage each other to this day. I highly recommend this class to anyone who might suffer and anxiety and depression, as it provides tools and steps that we can put into immediate practice and aid us in our daily lives. I feel blessed to have been able to participate in such a positive and life changing class!” - Susan L.
